A Plan for Patience and Perseverance

A few days ago, I started a disciplined running program. I use the word disciplined because I’ve tried running on my own program for many years.  In between family and work,  I’ve run inconsistently.  Well, now I’m ready to stick with it!

So far this week I’ve put in mileage everyday, running through my neighborhood and climbing Stone Mountain.  The hardest part has been rolling out of bed at 5 a.m.  Once I’m out the door, I’m good.

I plan to apply the patience and perseverance that I’ve learned on my Natural Hair journey to my training program. Almost 1 week down, 23 to go!
